Achieving the impossible

"I was handed what felt like an impossible task of finding a dynamic, original team-building event for my workplace on an extremely tight budget. This task had been passed around the office by several people before it fell to me.

"I exhausted all the personal leads my friends sent, then tried everything possible on the internet as well as the leads from the original plans.

"Finally I found AccessNSW at 4am on a Sunday night, I couldn’t sleep because I had to present something to my Managing Director at 9am on Tuesday and still had nothing.

"I shot an email off to AccessNSW with all my impossible criteria, thinking they wouldn’t be able to find anything for me since there wasn’t anything out there and wondering how much it was going to cost.

"The next day, I got a very polite call from a sales coordinator at AccessNSW who told me he had found a few venues and had a few ideas that he would send through.

"First thing the following morning, I received an email with three excellent, solid leads for places I could hold my events and a company which offered the kind of teambuilding event I was looking for within my budget.

"I took them to my Managing Director and after a 30-second brief, she accepted the proposal and told me I could go ahead and start to book in the event.

"If you’ve ever had to book a corporate or teambuilding event and understand the pressure involved, AccessNSW is an invaluable service which is completely free of charge. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough."
