Snowy Mountains

Year round, the Snowy Mountains provides a great choice of activities and accommodation. The winter sports of skiing and snowboarding give way to a raft of warmer weather activities such as kayaking, rafting and mountain hiking. With accommodation ranging from the boutique to resort-style, there are plenty of options for conference delegates.

Kosciuszko is the king of national parks in Australia. Crowned by the majestic peak of Mt Kosciuszko, it is surrounded by 700,000 hectares of National Park populated with sub-alpine snowgum woodlands and tall forests of alpine ash and mountain gums.

The area around Jindabyne inspired the legendary poems and stories of the mountain horsemen, who were most famously immortalised in Banjo Paterson’s The Man From Snowy River. Perched on the edge of a lake that’s half the size of Sydney Harbour, Jindabyne is an adventure base camp for the Snowy Mountains, providing easy access to skiing, fishing, horse riding and water sports – ideal for team-building activities! The town also has numerous accommodation options, including motels, apartments and lodges.
