Bid Manager

“I completed a Bachelor of Art (Tourism) at the University of Western Sydney (UWS) and then went on to complete my Honors. I have always been interested in the industry and love to travel so incorporating my passion and career seemed to be an obvious choice.

“While I was at University I worked at The Gardens Restaurant in Mount Annan Botanic Gardens where I did some waitressing and assisted with the organisation of weddings and other functions. During my time in the United Kingdom I worked at Visit London as an Account Manager in the membership team. I was responsible for managing over 300 members which was challenging but very rewarding. It was also a fantastic way to explore and learn more about London.

“I first joined Business Events Sydney (BESydney) in 2005 as the Strategic Alliances Coordinator and was then promoted to Strategic Alliances Executive. In July 2007 I left Sydney to travel and work in London. I rejoined the team at BESydney in November 2008 this time as Bid Manager. I am really excited to be back and promoting such an amazing city – Sydney. 

“In my spare time I enjoy catching up with friends, travelling or going to the movies. I also enjoy exploring Sydney wandering around the many markets or having a bite to eat in one of Sydney’s restaurants or alfresco cafes.

“Sydney is beautiful and diverse – there is something for everyone to enjoy. The lifestyle in Sydney is fantastic and something I have come to really appreciate since living abroad.”
